Jason is a 2003 graduate of Lake Hamilton High School in Hot Springs, Ar. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Athletic Training in 2007 from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. He started with Jackson athletics in July of 2013 as the Head Athletic Trainer. He also received his Masters of Education in Educational and Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri in 2015. He is certified through the National Athletic Training Association’s Board of Certification (NATA BOC) and licensed by the State of Missouri.
Jason has worked in the high school setting since 2008 covering multiple high schools in the area. He also has rehabilitation experience from working in outpatient physical therapy. He has worked with athletes of all ages from the little leaguers to professional athletes, keeping them safe and helping them return back to competition.
He married his wife Tori in 2008. She is a Jackson alum and teaches 3rd Grade at Nell Holcomb. They have 2 children, Alexis (12) and Cameron (7).
